| MDA ATTENDING 2006 CARLISLE
KIT CAR NATIONALS
As part of our promotional debut, we will be showcasing our Canadian demonstrator
MDA Mk I GT40 at the 2006 Carlisle Replica/Kit Car Nationals. Our feature
car has all of the latest refinements and will be presented in our rolling
chassis/body option to give viewers the best opportunity to see this car
in true kit form. MDA president Mark Sibley and North American representative
Chris Martino will be at the event to present & discuss the car with event
attendees. Look for MDA in the manufacturers section and check back here
for more information about this event.
FIRST MDA GT40 TO CANADA
In early February 2006, the first MDA GT40 arrived in Canada. By working
with Transport Canada, MDA were successfully given written permission and
an approved parts list. By documenting the entire procedure from initial
order to final delivery, we have a successful plan to assist future clients.

MDA TO USE ZF 5DS-25-1
Our latest chassis refinements were developed so we could use the original ZF
transaxle. This way we could develop our chassis to meet the specific requirements
of the original cars for improved geometry, correct installation, authentic
looks and performance you expect from a ZF. MDA has even gone as far to
develop the original ZF bell housing with the Ford SB for perfect fit and
function.
MDA PORSCHE G50 SERIES OPTION
The choice is clear - for availability of parts, service and high torque
applications, the Porsche G50 series is it. MDA spent much of the later
half of 2005 developing our chassis to meet the specific requirements needed
to fit the G50 unit. We wanted the same improved geometry, correct installation,
good looks and performance we designed for the ZF and after many hours of
R&D, we believe that we now have the best choice of power transaxles for
a variety of engine applications.
FORD MOTORSPORT RACING
ENGINES - SB 289 / 302, 351 UP TO BB 427, 460 & 514 cid
These engines come complete with intake manifold, MSD electronic
distributor, water pump, steel harmonic balancer, Canton race sump
Ford Big block Motorsport heads, flywheel and Ford Motorsport rocker
covers. Just requires spark plug wires, carburetor and pulleys which
we can supply for a small upgrade cost. Available options are 4-barrel
carburetor, Webers and down draught fuel injection. Clutch package
can also be supplied if type known with order. |
