GT40 ROLLING CHASSIS Built For The ZF 5DS-25-2 Transaxle,
Our Chassis Is Engineered With Correct Geometry, Engine Installation, Suspension &
Much More. The MDA GT40 Chassis - is the
foundation upon which all else is built around. Our chassis is designed
for the use of correct and original suspension, ZF transaxle, engine
installation, rear body hanger, GT40 uprights and 6-pin knock-on
hubs.
MDA has also made provisions to increase the cockpit area for more room, lower engine
cradle position for increased centre of gravity, better rear visibility, roll-over protection
and more. The craftsmanship of every hand-built chassis is outstanding and has achieved the
performance and authenticity to satisfy the most demanding clients around the world.

CONSTRUCTION
Square steel, TIG welded with structurally added steel floor,
interior and exterior aluminum panels and our unique roll-over
bar installed and painted satin Black.
DESIGN
Our improved chassis has more leg room, better occupant safety,
complete rear visibility because of our lower engine cradle
position.
GEOMETRY
Based on the original GT40, MDA have re-created the rear "horseshoe"
engine cradle to provide the correct engine height and correct drive
shaft angles. It also makes the suspension setup true to the original
car for excellent cornering and correct ride height.
FUNCTIONALITY
MDA chassis accommodates both the ZF 5DS-25-02, Porsche G50/50/52*
and Renault UN1 transaxles. We have also increased the fuel tank area
to allow for a higher capacity unit for longer driving duration.
